About the Unit
The Spiritual and Community Service Unit under the Student Affairs Section plays a vital role in nurturing students’ spiritual well-being and community engagement at Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
Upholding Islam as the official religion of Brunei Darussalam, the unit aims to develop students into Professional Mukmin, an individual who embody both faith and excellence and Insan Syumul, a well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to the university and society.

The Spiritual and Community Service Unit is responsible for:

Organizing the Quranic Journey Programme, a compulsory program to ensure students are Quran-literate and prepared for Majlis Khatam Al-Quran upon graduation.

Providing religious and spiritual guidance to students throughout their studies.

Responding to students’ queries on Islamic teachings, laws, and practices.

Planning, organizing, and implementing religious, spiritual, and community service programs across UBD.

Coordinating student participation in religious, cultural, community, and extracurricular activities.

Managing facilities for religious and community service events within and outside campus.

Liaising with PMUBD (Persatuan Mahasiswa UBD) and other religious organizations under its umbrella.

Serving as the Secretariat for UBD religious activities, including:
