Student Activities and Development Unit (SADU)
This unit is responsible for:
- Planning, organising and implementing students’ Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) in the University such as cultural activities, community service and sports.
- Supervising and providing relevant facilities and equipments for students activities within and outside the campus such as competition/tournaments or for community services organised by various organisations in the country for sports and cultural activities.
- Ensuring the participation of all students in various ECA activities.
- Supervision and storage of all sports facilities and equipment that belong to the unit.
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of the Orientation Programme for new students.
- Offering advice and assisting in coordinating of all activities organised by the students.
- Coordinating UBD’s participation in local, regional and international sports’ and cultural events.



Formation of Clubs:
Any formation of clubs is under the purview of the unit. No clubs exist without the prior permission or authorised by this unit. If such clubs exist, then, the unit has every right to prohibit them from using the UBD facilities. If there is a need to form a new club, please refer to any officer at the ECA unit.
